That is a pretty alarming headline that should make you want to go out and vote for a Democrat to save the earth. Clearly, with that much ice melting, we should all be underwater very soon…Not.

Here is the tidal gauge from Battery Park at the South End of Manhatten.

Sea Level increase has actually shown no increase in the rate of change since 1992, and the current level is below the peaks set in 1998 and 2009. Note how the spikes tend to correspond with El Niños and La Niñas. CO2 doesn’t cause El Niños and La Niñas.
